parc monceau

Paris is full of little surprises, countless treasures that an experienced guide can uncover for you (or which you can find for yourself by wandering ... or reading travel blogs!). The Parc Monceau is one such treasure. A small park located in the eighth arrondissement, it is in the middle of a beautiful residential neighborhood. In fact, the homes bordering the park look to be extremely desirable

The French Impressionist painter Claude Monet painted a set of three paintings of Parc Monceau. Here's a link to one one them! While the photograph above is no Monet, it hopefully reveals some of the grace and beauty of this small jewel of a park.
