Taking reservations beginning January 11, 2016, the newest Amanresort has been announced. Amanera will be the second Caribbean resort operated by Aman (the first being Amanyara on Turks & Caicos).
Amanera means peaceful water and draws its name from the TaĆno word for water. With an almost unimaginable amount of space, the resort is set on 2,000 acres of virtually untouched land and stretches across nearly seven miles of seacoast. A short flight from the U.S., Amanera is your opportunity to get away from the crowds and bustle of everyday life and simply relax.
Each of the twenty-five 1BR casitas will offer unobstructed ocean vistas and its own private garden. Half of the casitas will feature a private 10-meter swimming pool. Golfers will enjoy playing the Robert Trent Jones, Sr.-designed golf course, Playa Grande, that is integrated into the resort.
