How do you explain this? I saw these intersecting contrails in the western sky over San Francisco Bay during my walk yesterday afternoon ... and snapped a picture with my iPhone. It appears that that paths of two planes — one flying north-south ... and the other flying vertically (?) — crossed.
Obviously it's an optical illusion, but I thought it was a pretty cool sight...
