Traveling to St. Petersburg, Russia? Four Seasons has just announced the opening of the Four Seasons Lion Palace, a 19th century palace that has been restored to the splendor of the Imperial age ... with all the comforts that you would expect from a modern luxury hotel. The hotel takes its name from the twin lions guarding either side of the main entrance.
The hotel offers two restaurants (Italian and Asian) managed by a Michelin-starred chef, and a four-level spa features a triangular pool under a sky-lit glass dome. It sounds stunning. I hope to be able to witness the splendor of the new Four Seasons St Petersburg and write about it here.
When will the hotel open? I'm not sure of the actual date the hotel will open its doors, but the hotel is already accepting reservations for dates beginning August 1, 2013. Book through a Four Seasons Preferred Partner travel consultant to receive these exclusive and complimentary amenities:
- Daily full American breakfast for two people per bedroom, served through In-Room Dining or in the hotel restaurant (including buffets)
- Spa credit of USD100 once during stay (not applicable to products)
- Upgrade of one category, based on availability at time of check-in (excluding signature suites and villas)
- Complimentary high-speed Internet access for all suite bookings
